Welcome to Capo Le Case, in the village of Villa Bozza in the Abruzzo region of Italy.

The house is full of character and sleeps 2–9 people, plus 2 extra cots if needed.

The house is situated in the charming hillside village of Villa Bozza in Abruzzo, an unspoiled region on the eastern side of Italy. Villa Bozza is some 15 minutes drive from the mediaeval town of Atri. It is 3 km from Castilenti and 15 km from Silvi. Rome is some 2 hours away by car.

The house is close to Abruzzo’s National Parks, the Gran Sasso mountains and the beach at Pineto.

The nearest airports are Pescara (45 minutes), Ancona (1.5 hours) and Rome (2 hours). Ryanair offers cheap flights to all airports from Stansted, UK.

During your stay in our lovely holiday home you can enjoy the region’s excellent wines and food. Depending on the season, the many outdoor activities on offer in Abruzzo include:

walking, skiing (downhill and cross country), beach, rock climbing, watersports, fishing, bird watching, wineries (we can organise wine tours on request)

Another option is a visit to the nearby health farm and restaurant at Castilenti.

Or you can just relax in this friendly and welcoming part of Italy. We want to make your stay in Abruzzo a ‘true’ experience that allows you to really enjoy the food and culture of the region.

First visit to Abruzzo and enjoyed our stay. A fine villa with all amenities, and a beautiful ambience. We were welcomed warmly into the town and sad to leave. This region of Italy is well worth exploring again.

Spent the week here with my parents, good friends, and two babies. The villa exceeded our expectations as well as the regions. We were very comfortable here – including the babies – loved hanging around the pool, cooking meals on the fire and walking to the nearby towns. The beach in Pineto was amazing – especially mid-week when there wasn’t anyone else there. We would definitely return for another vacation here.

We had a fabulous week in Villa Bozza. The villa itself is excellent, everything we needed was in place and everything worked fine. We loved the way it has been renovated and furnished – all with good quality and in good taste. Pool much appreciated by our eight strong group.

Bakery is good for bread and milk.  Gallo was good despite limited choice of food and drink (eg no peroni). We visited Pineto (excellent resort), Atri (excellent) Penne (good), and other villages. Beautiful, welcoming very memorable. Oh, and locals really, really friendly.

Wonderful house, fantastic week. Very well equipped and everything we needed. Mountains and views – amazing. Beach at Pineto was great.

We loved the swimming pool and the ice cream shop was fantastic. I went deep sea diving and found lots of  shells.

The house was great, we had a fab week. Atri was a lovely little town, the beach was amazing at Pineto. The mountains were so cool! We did not have long enough in this home.

The house was perfect – we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The bakery down the road was really good – as was Ill Gallo (amazing pizza!). The beach at Pineto was really good – really warm water. Wished we could have stayed longer! Megan

The swimming pool was fabulous and very refreshing on hot days. The beach was also very nice and surprisingly warm. Thank you for letting us stay in the house! Josie x

Bakery was wonderful fun.

Higgins family from Bath and Aunty from Sydney, Australia:  spent a lovely week in Villa Bizzo. We were lucky with fabulous weather and a great recommendation from Sylvia about a restaurant in Casablanca. That got us hooked on Arrosticinni for the week!

We spent most days round the pool and made local trips to Atri and Pineto. The surrounding landscape was quite stunning – we’ll definitely come back to Abruzzo.

The ice cream shop and bakery were friendly and frequented often by us.

Fantastic week at Villa Bozza!

We all enjoyed the pool and ping pong room – resulting in a week of sporting tournaments and good natured arguing about the winner – likely to continue on the flight home (but Rich is the champion). The restaurant in the village “Il Gallo” was great – just go in whenever “Mama” is cooking in the kitchen. The wine flowed all night long and the bill was very, very cheap. The pasta and antipasta were delicious.

As others have said, the beach at Pineto was lovely and the sea was surprisingly warm.

We made various local trips, and also a longer one to Rome, it’s certainly do-able as a day trip from the house.

The only disappointment was a trip to the winery at San Lorenzo – the lady working there was rather rude and unhelpful – a shame as the wine itself is great and we’re all taking some home.

Thank you for the welcome pack – it was a lovely touch, as were the games, books etc. which have been well used by all.

A good bakery in Atri, near the theatre, the owner speaks very good English. “Panetteria de Corso” Lovely weather, a great time, lovely villa, well equipped.

Bridgend. April 2013

A wonderful holiday in the heart of unspoilt middle of Italy. Shared with some very special friends. Villa and eating out both great value for money. Pool area a sun trap even in April. As a British beef farmer of Aberdeen Angus can highly recommend T-bone steaks bought from the Villa S. Romualdo supermarket which we BBQ.

Fabulous villa, superb scenery and beach at Pineto, loved the local hospitality and food at nearby restaurants. A very relaxing holiday with our wonderful friends, fun, laughter and wine flowed very well, holiday to remember, thanks to younger ones for inviting us!

We’ve spent a very relaxing two weeks here – 1 week of sun, 1 week of somewhat dubious weather.

Pool was perfectly refreshing, enjoyed the BBQ. We ate at Vechia Silva – delicious,

Lovely people in the bakery, beautiful countryside, Pineto Beach;  love Atri – once I’d got the nerve to drive the switchbacks. Thanks!

Sylvia and Werner were lovely and got us a set of spare keys – they were vital for a large group.

Lovely house, beautifully equipped. Gorgeous pool and nice barbecue. Enjoyed Atri the beach at Pineto.  Local people friendly and liked the bakery and the ice cream at the pizzeria.  A lovely holiday and very good value.

Lovely holiday for us all.

7th - 14th July 2013

A fabulous 2 weeks in Villa Bozza. We arrived in an amazing thunderstorm with hail, wind, the works. Afterwards perfect weather for the pool, beach at Pineto and barbecues. We’ve met very friendly people everywhere and had some amazing food in the surrounding area.

14th - 25th July 2013

What a lovely villa! A great place to relax and unwind from a busy life back in Wales. We loved the pool, locals very friendly and the area beautiful! The info booklet we received before arrival very useful and have read it and re-read it many times! It was useful as many places are under-advertised. We sat outside the restaurant near Elice and still couldn’t see it!! It was fab though – we were the only people there, had a power cut and the food was amazing in candle light! The pool has been the highlight for us. It’s been a home from home!

11th August 2013

Another wonderful 2 weeks in this lovely old house – managed so efficiently by Silvia and Werner. They are a fount of knowledge and know all the answers!! New decking and fabulous cushions for the loungers.
